Focus Punch bugged?!

Featured Replies

Hey,

I just had a pvp opponent who abused a bugg about the move "Focus Punch".

When your opponent use the move Focus Punch there is no opportunity to react because there is no note in the chat.

"Its charging message is displayed before any other moves. " Is written in Bulbapedia.

I didnt found any threat about that so I guess the bugg it not knowen?

Anyway it is a huge bugg for pvp, I get destroyed by my opponent becasue I used Recover (Like I said, there was no Note in chat to react).

Here is a proof:

So I guess I understant the move and Im not talking shit here?

This is nothing more than a visual bug. Focus Punch, in the real games shows the user "tightening its focus". Then, you use whatever move you selected. If you used an attacking move, the opponent breaks focus. If you used a non attacking move, like recover, Focus Punch goes through. This all takes place in the course of one turn. It is not a charge up attack move, like Solarbeam.

I see. Someone told me its ALWAYS possible to dodge the attack when I see the text "tightening its focus", dont matter which attack I choosed. So thats wrong I guess. Yeh if its true what you say its just a visual, not impactful bugg. Thank you for your answer and clerifyed this! :)
