Skipping NPC battles

Featured Replies

I don't know if this is bug abuse or not but if it is I would like to know. If I log out after a wild pokemon appears I'll get teleported to the last PokeCenter I healed my pokemons at. I do this when I don't want to walk my way to the nearest PC.

I messed up my way to a town while training my EVs and wanted to skip a trainer battle. So I logged out and logged in again so I could go to the last PC I was on. The "problem" is you don't go back to the last PC you were on but you stand right in front of the trainer and you'r able to keep your way as if you already battled against the trainer. The reprodution rate was 100x on two trainers on Route 44 after Ice Path where I could skip both battles and keep my way to Lake of Rage.

Hello AimForNuts,

this is already known as Trainer skipping, pretty common if you ask me.

You will stand right in front of them if you logout during the dialogue, if you logout during the battle you get teleported back to your last PC but if it's during the dialogue; as I said you will stand just in front of that NPC.

An acronym for "random number generator" or "random number generation", it refers to the process by which computers generate apparently random numbers, essentially the computer equivalent of 'chance'.

PreHax but is this allowed? Guessed it wasn't working as it should but I found nothing about it...

AimForNuts, it's allowed but soon not necessary anymore :p
