Variation Posted July 13, 2017 Share Posted July 13, 2017 [glow=pink]ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT[/glow] Reveal hidden contents > It's a monotype tournament: All of pokemons in your team must share at least one same type (for exemple if I use Garchomp, I'll have to use only ground type pokemons or only dragon type pokemons) > The tournament will be divided in two parts: First part will be a system of pools Reveal hidden contents There'll be 8 pools [4 if less than 32 contestants] I'll try to regroup people from same GMT to make it easier for you 1 match against each player in pool (Victory = 1+ Loose =0) The 2 best players of the pool will pass to the 2nd part of the tournament (In case of equality, the one who won the match during pool will get the spot) 2nd part will be a regular BO1 direct elimination tournament I'll put 500k from my Pocket, and 6 good pokemon (See the prizes section) i'll also add 50% of the money i'll get from my rent shop (https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=95&t=69007) starting now until the end of the tournament > The tournament will start one day after the end of the registration (means the 29/07/2017): The 1st part will last 12 days ('till the 09/08/2017) and you'll have to make all your matches during those 12 days, so don't waste too much time and don't hesitate to make more than one match per day The second part of the tournament will begin the 11/08/2017, and there will be in 4 rounds [maybe 3], every round will last 3 days ! [glow=red]RULES[/glow] Reveal hidden contents > Monotype Rule: All Pokemons from your team MUST share at least ONE TYPE (Example: if you build a team around Garchomp, all other pokes must be ground type, or must be dragon type) >All pvp rules apply (Sleep Clause, banned moves, banned pokes) > Only one inscription per person > Disconnect = Loose except if your opponent accept to rematch > YOU MUST ABSOLUTLY RECORD THE BATTLE (Otherwise I consider it as no match) > You must join the discord of the tournament [glow=red]and you must put the video of your battle on the chan #results [/glow] (So that everyone can see the video. I decided to make this rule to ensure players seeing future opponents & other players strategies to improve their own strategies / team building) > You can change your team every match as long as you respect the monotype rule (you can change monotype played) > Climat inducing abilities are forbidden (drought / drizzle / sand Stream / snow warning) because climate teams are too strong in monotype and i don't want to see everyone running rain or sand teams. [glow=green]However moves inducing climate are not banned ( rain dance, sandstorm …)[/glow] > Anyone breaking rules will be disqualified > Special rules for @varicelle: As i'm going to participate, If I earn a prize, it will be used in totality for my next tournament prizes [glow=BLUE]HOW TO PARTICIPATE ? [/glow] Reveal hidden contents There are a few steps to register: > saying you want to participate here and add which GMT you are (to help me make pool of people with similar GMT) > Connect onto the tournament discord (me, or one of the helpers will give you the link) > Registration starts now and will last 2 weeks (from the 13/07/2017 to the 27/07/2017) !
