this is a common bug which occurs when your opponent uses a move that kills both pokemon at the same time; the user which initiated the Selddestruct/Recoil damage move will take the loss but the dialogue window is say something else first.

ok thanks for the help im just surprised that self destruct took me down and then healed my pokemon also but then warped me to the nearest poke centre when i challenged someone what would happen if someone inspected my pokemon then challenged me like pvp what would happen then but glad it got explained thanks

I'm glad you found an explanation to your situation.

 

If this ever have to come again, you'll make good to pass by the healing powers of Nurse Joy to be sure your Pokemons are all ready to battle/pvp before initiating any situation :D
