I'm in Hoenn and I delivered the letter to Steven in Granite Cave, and still have the letter in my inventory. He warped away...I proceeded to do the second gym and report back to Mr. Stone. He then "gave me the Devon Goods" but it didn't go into my inventory. I saw it on my screen that he gave it to me. The letter however remained. I spent thousands of dollars going back and forth to these places to see what I missed and am now broke. I went to Slateport to the lab and the guy says HE CANT HELP ME UNLESS I HAVE BUSINESS WITH MR STONE/DEVON, which supposedly unlocks the muesem. The north of the city is blocked off. I am stuck and believe this is a bug. Please help I am a subscribing member and cannot progress. I also spent all my money and cant travel now from the boat. I have the second badge and the letter still and that alone doesn't make sense even after returning to Mr. Stone a few times with the letter and badge. BLUE SERVER

Yes, I've watched multiple including following the steps written on the forums. Mr. Stone gave me the goods even though they never appeared in my inventory. He now tells me to deliver the letter (still have) to Steven which is clearly done because I have my 2nd badge. The man in Slateport tells me he cannot help me and the city exit is blocked.

Have you tried talking to Mr. Stone and then talking with the guy in the Slateport Shipyard?

If he allows you to pass, the gentleman in the Slateport Shipyard will open up access to the Slateport Museum, and there's a few things you need to do here before you can leave Slateport city.

Please reread what I wrote. He tells me to deliver Stevens letter still even after getting all the way to slateport. I never got the Devon goods and still have the SLetter.

I'm very frustrated at this point. I've even as gone as far as to get friends who are now past me to give me a pokemon for Rusturf tunnel for rock smash to no avail. Blocked. Lucky I have them around. They all did the quest no problems. They are even giving me currency for boat trips to go check if either steven respawned, or Mr. Stone finally gives me the Devon Goods. I've stopped because it's not worth it. I love this game and want to continue to play it. I'd greatly appreciate help. Thank you all in advance.
