Go first there then talk to the teacher and she will ask you to find her 4 missing student around in Jubilife city.

After you find them, go back to school then talk to teacher, after you talk to her go to route218(west of jubilife) Barry should be there.

And who knows how the story ended? I hope it was just some misunderstanding and everything resolved positively. And regarding the pokemons, I remember one creative teacher punished us once and asked us to write an essay about it. It is good we knew APlusEssay, the best essay writing service who could save us out of the situation. But we had a lot of fun at that time.
