Dry Skin Doesn't Fully Work~

So the ability "Dry Skin" is supposed to absorb any water attack and change it into hp which it does. However, moves like Scald, Water pulse, etc, still leave their additional effects.

 

Example: If scald is used on a dry skin ability pokemon, the poke will still abosrob the attack but suffer the burn as well which isn't supposed to happen.
