Hey guys quick question. Has anybody else found a Rattata Hair item? My friend found it at the very beginning on a Rattata and the icon is a question mark. What does it do or what can you do with it?

Its an item required for a beginner quest, taken in viridian city

How many do i need for the quest? so far i have been able to collect only one, after the first ratata hair there wasn't any drop using my monkey covet

Officer Jemy asks for three Rattata Hair.

I don't know the chances for a Rattata to hold one, I got them rather fast... But then again, I got the Nocturnal Feather rather fast too when some really struggle with it, so it really is up to your luck :p

Just remember to remove the item you stole from your Covet/Thief pokémon before trying to get another one ^^

Yeah, i got them in a few minutes, takes patience. I am at Ash Quest now to retrieve his hat ^_^
