3,000 years ago, the Pokemon known as Yveltal brought armageddon the Kalos region. Ripping away the life force of person and creature alike. A hills of bodies were formed before it was finally satisfied. It threw out a shrill screech as it flew back into the darkened clouds above. With the life energy of thousands, it lengthened its own lifespan and transformed into a cocoon.

800 years ago, it returned. Draining life indiscriminately for miles on miles. Yet people still lived, they witnessed its destructive power for themselves. Bodies fell like leaves in the fall, their loved ones were torn away. They came together, in sorrow and grief. They were the only ones left after all.

As time passed, they grew together. Forming a group, they prospered. Though their hearts still weighed heavy from the losses they’d suffered. For generations, they told their tales of the destruction that came from that night. And then they died, all of them.

All that was left of them was a small child, filled with hate for the world. As he grew, his disgust did as well. He spent his entire life searching for Yveltal until he, too, died. However, he did not perish without leaving something of his own. He had created a group- a cult of likeminded individuals. They wished for one thing, and one thing only.

Oblivion.
