Theearlofdemise Posted September 16, 2017 Share Posted September 16, 2017 Hello everyone, Strangely enough, there aren't a lot of people who have full walkthroughs on YouTube, with clear commentary, that I can just put on in the background. I have not done anything like this before, however, I did not see any walkthroughs, with commentary, that I wanted to watch on YouTube of PRO. If someone like Shadypenguinn, Shofu, Numbnexus, Verlisify, Duncankneedeep, etc..., made videos on PRO, then I most likely wouldn't be starting a channel with said content, as I enjoy their videos as well as their personalities (when they're uploading vids about pokemon). My reason behind creating this channel, editing videos, and uploading them was and is to provide myself with a series to bridge that gap. Even though this is what has driven me to actually produce content about PRO, I do look forward to hearing any feedback I receive and improving my material accordingly. Now, I know that I'm nowhere near the quality of shadypenquinn or the rest, but, I do believe I have good quality content and will strive to improve with every passing video. Theearlofdemise Posted October 6, 2017 Author Share Posted October 6, 2017 Greetings dear viewers, My biggest issue with this was that I simply didn't have the drive to put in the effort required to edit videos (after the first). The first episode, a small ten-minute clip with an intro and outro only, took quite a while to put in all those edits (messed up a few as well). I have around 20 episodes that I bulk-recorded, and I just need to put in the time and effort to edit them, extensively, so they will be entertaining for those that watch it in full. I do understand that I will not get millions of views on my first video, but, that was not my goal to begin with. I quickly learned that I didn't have the mindset and patience (without motivation) that is needed to heavily edit videos so my mistakes are less impactful on the recording (to me and to you). I thank you for your comments in regard to seeing potential in what I'm doing, and in response to your feedback, I will start outputting episodes in a timely manner (one per-day/every-other day). I greatly appreciate those, few but important, eye-opening comments about the quality of the video and that more would not be unwanted. Thank you, once again, for checking out my work and I will try my best to keep to that schedule and uphold my end of the bargain as far as that is concerned. Sincerely, TheEarlOfDemise. I do apologize about any delay, there was a copyright issue as well as Chroma key issues that needed to be resolved. I'm sorry to say that one Chroma key mishap has made it through production, however, it would not be worth fixing one small line of color (barely visible). Just know that, for future episodes, you will not have to deal with looking at sloppy assets within my videos as I am looking into a solution for this problem.
