Thor
I dont think you quite grasp how directx works. People should have upgraded their systems to at least vista by now anyway. There is no point in supporting a legacy system just to please a few people who havent upgraded. People with lower end PCs will always have speed issues. Thats the nature of a low end PC. I mywelf dont particularly have a good PC. Most of the parts are 6+ years old, yet i get nearly 500fps in PRO. If people r struggling with speed then they need to upgrade (like i did). Simple as that. Do not contact staff members for private support. Share the question on the forums due to being of use to others. Please use proper forum. Unsolicited messages will be trashed. Guest UnknownUser11
DirectX isnt changing speeds here my friend, thats not how it works. Also, PRO uses DirectX 11 for windows. (Vista+) PRO uses OpenGL for android, mac and Linux You just need DirectX 11 installed, but a DirectX 9 compatable gfx card will work fine. So any graphics card past 2004 can run PRO generally. And as Arnie said, his computer 6+ years old can run PRO at 500fps. If your computer is ancient and worth $5, then i suggest you turn off detailed lighting. It will improve PROs speed dramatically during the night. Now i'm not exaggerating when i say $5.. A few players have literally spent $20 on a graphics card that can get 500fps on PRO.. You only need 60 for a pure awesome performance. and can play fine with a bit lower Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/752-options-graphs/#findComment-13140 Share on other sites
Thor
I have more upgrades incoming, but you can see an example of my system specs here; As you can see, not that great (will have 4x more RAM shortly, and looking to get a better GFX card). This is also with a dual core processor (3.07ghz - also will be upgrading to a quad core shortly) and this is all with cheapo parts. i have literally spent less than £100 for the whole computer (HDD, tower (came with the 2GB RAM and the dual core CPU), GFX card). There is little excuse really Do not contact staff members for private support. Share the question on the forums due to being of use to others. Please use proper forum.
