Hi, i have to report a bug concerning black medalion.

Actually i bought one and i activated it few moments later (2 november 2017 around 16:30 GMT+1) but it seems it is not working at all, i keep catching almost only Pokemon without hidden ability.

Until now i got 1 h.a. over 35 catched(in ghoul swamp if that matters). If necessary i'll update this post when black medalion will deactivate to give you final numbers, even if I'm almost certain that this isn't due to bad luck...

 

I hope there will be a solution to this! :confused:

EDIT (5 november): End of black medalion.

Caught Pokemon: around 150 (with an imprecision of 3 or 4. I had to release some Pokemon because all my boxes are full, so i lost precise count).

Hidden ability Pokemon: 11.

Total h.a. is 7%.

These seem numbers you usually get without a black medalion. And i know from personal experience that the difference between active and not-active bms is considerable.

I never thought it worked either. I always have one on and never seem to get HA

I used one few days ago and it worked as intended. Also bms are used by a lot of people without problems, so it is some sort of bug and i clearly feel like if i wasted a lot of money and time.

What do you mean with "your luck"? Was i lucky purchasing a bugged black medalion? :Ambivalent:

I can go catch 100 zubat and show you how many of them have hidden ability if it is necessary...

black ms is only adjust the chance to 1/12, but not a must. No matter how much you catch, every h.a. appear chance is still 1/12. It is not related how many you find if you know Maths. So,it is really just by luck lol

For what i know (and i searched on the forum and asked to my guild) the chances to get a poke with h.a. without bms should be 5% (1/20). With bms you have 20% more chances,(5+20=25 iirc), so it's a 25% to find Pokemon with hidden ability, 1/4.

i have this problem of 17 snivy 0 h.a and 11 dratini 0 h.a -_-

it can be a problem of probabilities too, you can get up to 1000 pokes without h.a because you have a 75% chance that it does not come out
