Yamidragon
Subtitled or Dubbed, what is your preference in watching anime? Personally, I like Subtitled because the dialog is less watered down then English Dubbed. I have seen many times were an anime was totally rewritten from its Japanese origin. Yah, you could blame American censors for that. Most Dubbed I seen is what I called "Kiddied Down". Cougan
Depends what you're watching, sometimes I really like the english voice acting. If it doesnt sound believable though I watch the subbed Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/783-subbed-or-dubbed/#findComment-13489 Share on other sites
Sebowar
Subbed FTW! But seriously, japanese voice acting is undoubtedly more sensitive and usually matches with character's apperance. In dubs you usually got random twist of characters with voices. On the other side it's kind of comic when japanese seiyuu tries to speak English quotes with their accent :D EPIC scene time!  Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/783-subbed-or-dubbed/#findComment-13490 Share on other sites

Sdarkoix
Dubbed.. I hate reading subtitles. Can't for the life of me think why anyone would watch something with subtitles all the way through unless they actually spoke the language. Zyko
Sub all the way, however sometimes dubbed is better like in dragon ball z, where goku isn't a 90year old women. sDarkoix, you do start to pick up simple words pretty fast.
