after beating boss nikola, do i have to fight the guardian again so i can catch the legend dog?

cause after defeating it, the legend doesnt appear.

can i catch the legenday i killed/failed to catch after defeating Nikola boss.

If you have fail your dog, you need to do Nikola boss but if you dont have fight legendary dog and need him to spawn, you cant get a legendary dog by Nikola boss.

Hey there, and sorry to hear about your inconvenience;

 

Defeating Nikola gives you another chance to get the Legendary Dog to spawn, but you will have to defeat the Guardian as many times as needed until you get lucky enough to get it spawned again ‒or choose the legend's 100% chance of spawn as your 4th consecutive win.

 

What [mention]CobraMK[/mention] meant is that you only need to defeat Nikola if you got the dog spawned but killed him, got disconnected in battle or ran away. Defeating the Guardian only grants a 20% chance to get the legendary spawned, and you won't be able to challenge Nikola for it if it never has been spawned yet for you.
