As a ground-type monotype player, sandstorm is very important to fight some kind of pokes, like rain dancers. I have some ground pokes who also take advantage of this because of their ability, like sand force. But the question is... is it legal to use a sand veil ability poke with sandstorm weather in ranked pvp? I know you can't use moves like double team to improve evasion, but does this applies to sandstorm + sand veil?

Hi, you may use sand veil ability with sandstorm weather in ranked PvP. The evasion claus of the PvP rules only bans evasion moves and not abilities.
