It would be pretty cool to have just about every player hunt in the safari at the same time. Everyone would mark their calendar for the 1st of the month and it would be a community hunt. Engineer Posted July 8, 2015 Author Share Posted July 8, 2015 Hmm, it may have a slight downward altercation on the value of the Pokemon found in the Safari Zones. It wouldn't be new access to a zone not otherwise reachable, it is just lowering the price to enter the safari. Perhaps it can be done once in a great while, doesn't have to be once a month. I am almost certain the value of Eevee won't plummet just because there are more people hunting for him one extra day a month. And even if so, all players get the chance to catch some Pokemon that otherwise they wouldn't be able to afford to do. I know after I buy a bicycle for 75k, I won't have much leftover, but whatever is left will be used to hunt in the safari because I want to complete the Pokedex. I like the idea of having the free safari voucher during milestone numbers in the Safari Zone. How about every 100th trip taken to the Safari by the community, that person gets a free safari voucher. It will make it interesting because every time you start a new safari run, you think you might have a chance to get that voucher. How about implementing a different gen Pokemon in safari zone for the first of every different month and keep it very rare, so that player have to spend a lot of time in safari. Only my suggestion. It probably wouldn't be too difficult for the staff to edit this (remove the timer, then put it back), and it's a really simple idea that spices up the game a little bit. Something completely different: Just thinking out loud... What if the membership areas were opened up to players one weekend per month? I don't think it would negatively affect donations (at all) and it might actually help increase donations after the players get a taste of what they're missing. It would also serve as a means of allowing nonmembers an opportunity to get those "member exclusive" Pokémon that some people believe gives members an unfair advantage. Idk if it would be difficult to manage, or if it would be tedious to implement, but I think it would be a great idea. Anyways! I love posts like these where multiple people share their inputs in a constructive matter. Good stuff, everyone.
