I'm new at the game I just earned my 4th badge .. I know It's too soon to build a team and I should finish the most of the journey first .. but I like to gain knowledge and progress on the right path from the beginning and stay as good as I can be at every step in the journey .. so far I have Growlithe Adamant with good IVs lv99 and a Magikarp with good IVs lv 96 and trying to get a very good Gastly Timid/Modest and got very good IVs Abra lv 60 .. and avg lv60 of some various types pokemons .. what pokemons I need to get and lvl up myself and what should I just buy ? .. what team should I build for now ?

I recommend newbies to catch a good Gastly or Magikarp early. You already have one Magikarp, so it's good, make sure it is Jolly/Moxie. I would also recommend catching a Gastly. They would help you in E4. You have good pokes for e4 . Buy a good snorlax as it's very helpful. For now, this team is enough. Good luck :)

Thanks for replying .. What nature and moveset I need for Gastly and How much approx ? .. cuz I will prefer to buy one on catching cuz I think the money I will spend on pokeballs to catch an epic one would cost more than buy one .. and same for snorlax ? .. and should I buy a lv 100 snorlax as I see the base experience of it is so high so it would be hard to get it lv 100 .

For your story purposes any timid or modest is fine. Good moves are Shadow Ball, Sludge Bomb, Thunderbolt, and then you can put other moves there like Psychic or anything really. With your current team you will destroy the rest of the kanto story with no problem. I wouldn't bother buying any more pokemon now, as when you start Johto you have to lock away all of those Pokemon until you've beaten the story. Your gyarados, Alakazam, and Arcanine will walk through the rest of the story easily.

thank you for replying I really appreciate the help .. I need to know the price of a good Gastly and what IVs should I consider to get a really good one .. and I got a good amount of money so I really hope to get a good dratini or a dragonite what do you advice for IVs nature and price .. and what about the starters (Squirtle , Charmender , Bulbasour , Pikatchu ) should I got any of them ? I see some people advice about Pikachu specially with Surf as I got it as starter .. I know I can pass the story with my team nw with no trouble but I really want to enjoy the game step by step and maximize my team at every part of story .. I really want to beat Red in the Victory road :D .. thanks for the help!

And What about Eevee evolutions Should I build some of them .. I think there's a quest to get them all .. so how to get the quest ? .. and should I just try to get them for the quest or should I build some for the team .. and what IVs for each .. and what the avg price for a good eevee ? .. Sorry I ask too much I know :D

It is not necessary to close the whole story to have a competitive team, I just finished kanto and he formed good teams. You can look up my name on YouTube and check it out for yourself. what is more important for now is getting the synchronization that nesesites if they are kadabra much better, false blow and a sleeper to capture faster. also make the dig spot will give you a lot of money. good friends to help you put the movements to pokemon would also be a good idea I am one of those who pay for that and the evs while I hunt my pokemon I think it has been much faster than difficult to get competitive pokemon in the trade and get who I do the evs for about 50k is easy and the movements because good. the pokemon that you should train are those that you like more by design types or fetish crap xD if you tell me 4 pokemon I can help you complement your team with the other 2. but do not do what most people use pokemon that everyone uses better use pokemon to destroy the ones that most use. Try to always have attacks fight, fire, ice and a lanturn stops the talonflame xD these types of attack will help much to counter the ladder. Do not forget to look for me on YouTube if you need more help :*
