Xeilang Posted February 2, 2018 Share Posted February 2, 2018 I was about to teach TM 13 Ice Beam, to my pokémon, but I had to do some other stuff in midst of playing. So I left the move teaching screen open (was considering teaching it to my Nidoking) and left it there. When I came back, it had disconnected me for afk, which is allright. But when I logged back in, I noticed that the TM was missing from my bag and it hadn't been taught to any of my pokémon. Could you restore the TM for me? I know it can be bought from a store, but I really don't feel like buying something I should have. I play on the Yellow server Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Purplemauth Posted February 2, 2018 Share Posted February 2, 2018 Staff won't be able to restore your item, as items lost in rollbacks/crashes/log outs can't be restored. If you're teaching your pokemon a move, I'm not sure why you wouldn't just use one more click to teach the move you're trying to teach? Something to remember for the future :) I was able to replicate your situation, and since you clicked on your Nidoking, the server reads it as you have taught the move to your pokemon. You can hit cancel and it won't consume your TM, but if you leave it open the server logs off and considers it as you teaching the move to your pokemon, even though its hasn't replaced another move. You used the item and then got disconnected so I'm sorry but you will have to get another ice beam tm in game. They can be baught from Mahogany gym for 4k each and from Mauville game corner for 5k each as well as a potential reward for defeating Lorelei boss.
