Crossps Posted February 9, 2018 Share Posted February 9, 2018 Hey guys, Just reached at fuchsia city and and one of the houses there HM teacher for Rock climb for 15k so just curious do i need Rock climb to continue in the game and at which point of game i seriously need Rock climb to progress..? Astraea Posted February 9, 2018 Share Posted February 9, 2018 Hi crossps, You don't need Rock Climb to seriously progress through the story, although there are a few areas that you need Rock Climb for, mainly: Route 42 in Johto to access the Punch Tutor: Hoenn Safari Area Zone 6 for a Full Restore: Route 207 in Sinnoh, as a shortcut: Route 227 in Sinnoh, to access the newly released Saphirr Boss: You can progress through all regions and successfully complete them without Rock Climb.
