but isnt it better to keep separates accounts and then just trade items and pokes from one account to the other one?

Please read the Server Merge FAQ, as most of your questions should be answered there. As a side note, it's easier to merge both your accounts if you were going to trade all your game objects to one account anyway. Let me know if you have any questions that aren't answered in the FAQ and I'll do my best to help out.

I think im going to keep separates accounts just to be able to trade to myself and also to not lose dex data...

If i do so i will have different names but same pw to login?

Is ash's hat tradable?
