I don't see why they aren't added to the game. Berries like the type effective ones like chople, healing ones like Wiki, and other effects like Custap. It would give more creativity to movesets instead of just slapping leftovers and choice items on everything and call it a day. Also helps people just getting into pvp so they don't have to run just leftovers or type boosting items until they get the choice items, assault vest and life orb.

 

It wouldn't be overpowered because those berries are gimmicky.
