I used to play this game almost everyday, stopped playing a few months ago. I come back to check on my pokes and to play some more. The red server is gone and I have to start all over again?

The red/blue servers have merged into a single server called Silver. You can merge your old red account + blue account into a silver account by going to the dashboard. Here is a link to the dashboard. The staff have also created a Common Merge Errors FAQ which has issues which you may experience during your merge of the old accounts into the new account. Also, within the Common Merge Errors FAQ you can find a visual guide how to merge your old red and blue accounts together.
