Bide TM allows all pokemon to learn priority for the False Swipe leveling method

Featured Replies

Hello.

In the main Pokemon games, the Bide move does the following: "User waits for two turns, then hits back for twice the damage it took (Priority = 1)." Source: https://veekun.com/dex/moves/bide

Now as many of you know, the Bide move is not coded in PRO and will only deal 1 damage on the turn it is used. However the Priority component is still present. Also, as you can see from the previous link, Bide is learnable by almost all Pokemon in the game and only for the cheap price of 750$ (Pewter Gym).

This means that any Pokemon can use Bide to level up easily with the False Swipe leveling method without the need of Focus Sashes at all.

After discussing this with a GM, it turns out that exploiting this kind of bug may be bannable so I don't recommend anyone reading this post to use this method.

Hope someone will find the time to fix this before too many people are tempted to use it.

i dont see how this is bannable

The move doesnt work, as long as it isnt used in PvP (like, why would it) it is all good
