I went to Vulcan Island half an hour ago and fought the first trainer on the Vulcan Island Shore map, went back to Vermillion to heal, got back to Vulcan and I saw the same first trainer basically dedouble and come talk to me, with the trainer encounter music playing. She only said her after-battle dialogue and that was it. This also happened with the Aroma lady on the left as seen on the attached screenshot, even though I didn't go back or even go to another map after battling her the first time. This has no real downside, or rather is a harmless bug, but it's still a bug as far as I can tell. Has been an issue for over 2 years almost, this is iirc not fixable
