Couldnt catch Latios due to storage glitch

I was trying to catch latios, but i got a message saying that I couldnt store any more pokemon and to release some at the nearest pc. However, i still had 3 slots in my party open, and my pc is not full. I also used mymasterball, which then dissappeared after failing to catch latios.

Hi there. You can actually only have a total of 900 pokemon, that includes both your party and your PC, regardless of extra slots. Nevertheless, you can fight Nikola once again for another chance at Latios. Please don't forget to release a few pokes as well. It's best to release more than one, just to be safe.

 

As for your masterball, unfortunately we cannot retrieve it for you without video proof. I'm really sorry for this inconvenience and I hope you understand.
