I have enough kanto poke and evolves (ik bc i can go to love island), I beat red, i have 260h+ game time and i did the subway quest. And yes i mean the correct red. Also, I've checked your other variables so please make sure you go to Saffron/Goldenrod's Subway Station, select the option to travel to an area then select the Trainer's Valley option once you're actually infront of the train.
