I was battling rotom about to catch it and the game freeze and when I loaded it back in I was at Pokemon center. I went back to see if I can battle it again and I couldn't. Can I get a second chance ?

Hi there. I'm really sorry to hear about your situation. For server crashes on our end, unfortunately, they can be unpredictable at times therefore we're always trying to improve our server stability, but it isn't perfect and can sometimes still result to a crash. Rest assured that we're always trying to bring our players the best experience although sometimes things may not go as planned. Nevertheless, in cases of long downtimes and numerous crashes due from our end, we may sometimes issue compensation to our players.

 

Next, ensuring a proper connection on your end also helps minimize your losses. It is good to check on your internet provider to know when their downtimes will be as well as contacting them if you are not experiencing a stable connection. You may also check with the following questions:

 

▪︎ Are you using Proxy?

Try not using it, and then test again

 

▪︎ Are you trying to play at home/work/school?

Your school/work or any public connection, they could have had their IP blocked already or be blocking the game on their network, you would need to ask them to find if that's the case

 

It could also be your provider blocking the game, which case you could try contacting your internet provider to try and get it unblocked as seen in this post

You could also use a VPN although you should check you're allowed first.



It also would be unfair to the other players who have accepted their losses due to crashing (regardless of our end or theirs) if we restore your pokemon and not theirs. As stated in a General Support Sticky Thread:

• Lost by crash issues (Including disconnections and rollbacks)
  

 

Some times when the game crashes/stuck, you might lose your a bit of your progress. Keep in mind that game is in BETA and crashes can happen any time. You will not be given anything you lost in a rollback/crash/stuck as it's responsibility. Please take the time to read the following thread Hit by a rollback. We are so sorry for your case, however, it will not have any action go further for your case.

 

Now, as I've stated all that I could regarding your issue and nothing further can be done regarding it, I'll now lock this thread. Once again, I'm really sorry for this inconvenience.
