Hey Guys.

I´m new here and want to do the rattata quest. officer said that mankey with covet can help me.

But covet is one of 5 attacks mankey can learn with lv 1. so, can i found an mankey with covet on route 22 or can it just relearn the attack?

Hi there. You'll need to teach your Mankey Covet from a relearner. You can also use pokemon with Theif/Frisk or you can catch the pokemon as well. You also don't have to complete the quest right now, you can always come back to it.

Hi there. You'll need to teach your Mankey Covet from a relearner. You can also use pokemon with Theif/Frisk or you can catch the pokemon as well. You also don't have to complete the quest right now, you can always come back to it.

but with an chance i can catch the mankey with the covet? or is there no chance because the first attacke wouuld be deleted for learning an new?

Hi there. To my knowledge, you'll have to use a relearner as I doubt the Mankeys there spawn with Covet often.
