In addition from what database if anything besides soul silver and soul gold would allow for different legendary types

Hi there. There is currently no ETA for new regions to come out. As for new legendaries, there is also no ETA for when new ones will be released to the public. However, feel free to keep an eye out in the Downloads and Update logs as well as the In-Game Update log for if they are added.
