I have managed to reduce the size to 39kb without losing too much quality but it still wont work.

Do you happen to know how big the file size is allowed to be? the resized image is 74.3kb

Update: I cannot seem to use an external website for my avatar even once I have resized it. I don't know whats going wrong.

I myself don't see anything wrong with this image but I wanted some ones elses opinion on it, would this be allowed? I will delete it if people find it too offensive I have gotten in trouble for pictures before so my judgement alone is not enough to be trusted apparently and I don't wish to get in trouble on the forums.

That sounds like a pretty good quality of life change.
