def and spdef is used to defend your pokemon from a particular type of damage, defence reduces the damage of physical attack moves and special defence reduce the damage of special attack moves. Hp stands for hit points so it is used to increase the amount of total health the pokemon has. Every 4 evs grants you 1 bonus stat on that particular stat too. Umbreon, generally speaking would prefer spdef and hp investment. This is to allow it to become a very strong spatk wall and also allows you to set up moves like curse which is why you don't necessarily need a strong defensive stat. With regards to duskull, perhaps a hp investment with atk could be good but I an not entirely sure.

It does but, although surfing is slower, ruins of alph water just spawns wooper and quagsire giving 1 & 2 evs of hp per pokemon.

That is perhaps a very specific issue regarding rarer and harder to obtain evolutions of pokemon, but in all honesty I do not think this is necessarily a bad thing because then you create a new type of market which you don't find in other MMO pokemon games where trash rarer pokemon have value because they are required for the pokedex and I actually like this unique implementation. If you want to specifically talk about electrivire however its evolution does require you to use an item, probably why it still has a high price based on the item's worth.

Well personally whether there are people deliberately increasing the price of MS by the buying and selling method, I have seen membership stay for quite some time at the 130k mark since perhaps Nov/Dec time, I understand why it was low however and I was happy with it being low because pokemon, even really good ones, were a lot cheaper back then. Now it seems to me like $5 if it stays at the 130k mark it is about equivalent to a decent level 100 24+ speed timid gengar. As much as I don't like people profiting from buying and selling MS, I think with the increase in the total amount of money in the game and now that good pokemon are becoming worth more, I'd very much like to see MS prices increase overall even though I have never sold membership to anyone to date.

Well, this isn't a generalization, but a lot of people buy pokemon at a low price because of the amount of effort that the buyer has to ev train the pokemon and level it to 100 for them to sell it again (even though money is made during that process). If that isn't the case, prices of pokemon have been going up as time goes by particularly with more desirable pokemon. One of my old clan mates did come up with a sort of formula which I found useful when trying to sell pokemon although it may be a bit outdated https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=5497. oh yeah i just beat the second gym.. the wilds are a little bit of a struggle.. lol so i understand. are the E4 hard also? or did it get easier? personally I did not fight e4 much of a challenge compared to kanto, after all you have access to all your pokemon including kanto pokes. Just make sure you use relevant guides so that you have an easier time taking out the e4. I never had that resource but I didn't feel I needed it. Training once you get access to dd is pretty good, people have told be Cerulean is better but I haven't gotten that far yet.

Yeah I felt that way with johto, but namely as Listed said sums it up nicely. I didn't feel it too much near last few badges but between 2-5 it was a challenging.

Currently, i cannot go back kanto because i have not completed e4 in johto. i have some nugget and I need money to buy supper rod :Frown: well your best bet is to complete johto badges and then come back to collect the super rod

The fact it is run by volunteers will never change. Reason is if this becomes a profit based game Nintendo will get their law suits and shut it down. So it will forever be run by volunteers as a beta game.

Would make some sense but I imagine it being hard to code. Also when you are walking from Kanto to Johto where on Route 27 would it change time zones? I'm interested in the idea just unsure how it would be implemented. I think in this one it would probably have a time zone based on one of the regions, so if it was decided that it is still in the kanto region for example it is based on that time.

That is a bug based on the standard pokemon mechanics, burn should not continue to lower the atk stat if it has been removed. Otherwise paralyse should continue to lower speed even after you've un paralysed yourself with a lum berry.

Bro that's just being unhelpful, I take your point it doesn't have to be the same as real life, but I am more interested in what you think of the mechanic. Well you don't necessarily have to back track the time based on kanto's clock to find the time in johto, you could have a tab by the poke time that allows you to look at the time in other regions so that if you wanted to find a particular pokemon that does come out at night, it becomes a more viable option.

Hi I have looked at other posts as far I could and I have not seen anything like this it would be an interesting feature to the game but it isn't that important, just something worth thinking about considering we will have 3 regions soon. My idea is to have different times in different regions like our own world e.g. kanto poke time would be 06:00, johto would be 12:00 and hoenn would be 18:00. This would be a useful feature for someone like myself who wouldn't might traveling to places where night would still be there to catch say, staryu or shellder because night time is quite a short period compared to the rest of the time. Obviously I think it should be added when hoenn is out. But I think this would be an interesting mechanic. What do you guys think?

So you caught gothita, went back to the pc and couldn't find it and you didn't log off during that time? also make sure you check all the pc tabs, sometimes, because you can only view 14 boxes at any given time, it could have moved to another box and you did not realise. I know this sounds basic but it can happen.

After the 4th badge in kanto you can trade for any level pokemon that was originally caught in kanto until you're able to go to johto.

Well to be honest imposter should allow it to change when you switch it in. So the move is useless anyway but I agree that it needs to be implemented at some point.
