In my opinion it's a bit more challenging than the handheld games, but isn't an mmo supposed to be challenging? The leveling is finde, even without membership. I remember that i had problems against brock, since i picked charmander as first pokemon. My last Pokemon games were 3rd gen (hoenn) and rom hacks based of those mechanics. I had to adapt to the new 6th gen xp mechanics and all, but that was just fine, since i knew how to beat challenging pokemon trainers with type advantage. So as a experienced Pokemon player i'd say it was nice to have a challenge. However, i can't get into a new players situation, since i play Pokemon for quite a long time (since I was around 6 years old). I didn't take care much of hints and stuff, so i'm not sure if the start actually is "noob" friendly. however we have a help chat, people should ask in there if they need help. I think this compensates the lack of experience for new players. Altho, the only really really challenging thing for me is johto, but there are more and more ways implemented to make it easier (even in kanto), as example: headbutt trees. in johto headbutt trees' pokemon are a bit higher in their level, which means it's a bit easier to farm xp. Also i had level 65 enemy Pokemon after the olivine gym (where my pokes were around lvl 45), this also got lowered. after olivine gym the level of trainers was changed to 45-50. Tl;dr: For an experienced player like me it was quite nice to experience such a challenge, instead of easy running through the game. It also seems to me that the PRO team is always working on the balance. New players have to bite in the bitter apple and try to find a way for themself. For now they'll have to stick in help chat and learn by reading or trial and error. [glow=red]-This is an MMO, it's NOT supposed to be easy-[/glow] :Angel:

money sink exists in every mmo i played so far. fast travel always had some kind of payment (silver or gold) // (played gw2 and WoW a bit) nonsense. money on wild pokemons is used for grinding. later on you'll be thankful for the money they give. exists. check the Trade Forum, daycare subforum. you'll find many trusted players who do cheap daycare. they run it pretty successfully, if they wanted money they'd have gone another path. just compare with other pokemon mmos and their economic or "donation" stuff works. i don't see shiny rates going up for membership users... If you don't like this kind of MMO than leave it... either way. many suggestions made from the [glow=red]community[/glow] were considered or even implemented (e.g. queue system or events). Also, don't rant on other players, who actually make a point in what they say.

Answer: As said [glow=red]IT'S[/glow] intended to make it harder, simple as that. If you can't beat the gym leader on the first try you probably didn't train well. Also you mention this is a MMO, if you faint you'll have a bad side effect because of it(that always has been in any MMO). Wether it's to restart and gain no xp or waiting a certain amount of days to retry the boss. That are the game mechanics. I hope the point is made clear to you :y: Best regards, Seibuza

actually it is all about type advantage, you might look into leveling at route 32/bellsprout tower. Also Chikorita is the Pokemon with the biggest disadvantage in johto. Bug/poison vs Grass => lose.

did you try it from 12-13(12pm to 1pm) poketime

it doesn't depend on the region you catched it, it has to be a gen 1 (kanto) pokemon. if your dex has every pokemon from 1-146 as caught entry + legends seen, than you're good to go (and the other requ. ofc :Shy: )

I'd prefer to update the second picture like this, so it is clear which door: despite that, nice guide :)

In order to fix that bug, you will have to restart the whole client and log in again.

I think the mechanics are all mixed from generation 4-6. I guess it's not all Gen 6 yet. Also Gardevoir as example can't learn moonblast by leveling up at the moment.

i don't use them. lightshot should also do the trick :P But if you use them as tool it would be the same way like in the tutorial

I'd recommend you Lightshot, since it's easy to handle (ofcourse you could use snipping tools, save it on your local drive and upload it to imgur...but well you see that's more complicated): [glow=blue]https://app.prntscr.com/en/download.html[/glow] After you installed I'll show you how to take a screen with that tool and upload it to the Forum: [glow=blue]1) Press "prnt" on your keyboard. It's the right button of "F12"[/glow] [glow=blue]2) After your Screen went a bit darker you'll have to make a window by pressing the left mouse button and drag it to the lower right corner to make it bigger. well you'll figure it out if you try it :)[/glow] [glow=blue]3) After you made a window the toolbar will pop up, click on the upload button (Hover over the icon to get a short explanation) :[/glow] [glow=blue]4) Now you got a link. Hi thouhoukhoa, some moves are not in the game yet. (as example: water shuriken). If the Dex doesn't show the move on that Pokemon, it probably isn't coded yet.
