I was looking at the following thread: https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=19536 and i came up with an idea; what if a bunch of us kinda worked together to make up our own region with the pro tiles? Maybe there would be a chance they could be inserted into the game...?

Re: Checking for Map Version <t>One solution is disconnecting from your internet, load the client, and connect back to internet to login. Worked for me because it skips the "checking maps" part. That should be a way around it until it is fixed.</t>

I have noticed this too, and it has only been a problem since the latest client update (For me, anyways) There are times where "Loading Maps" refuses to make any progress. UPDATE: The turning off internet/turning back on thing does work.
