  1. It'd be impossible to do, they've said this before. Not to mention it's better to keep the servers separate for obvious economical reasons.
  2. This is exactly what they did in Poke mmo, they figured if you had to sacrifice the parents it wouldn't be to abused. They were dead wrong, and it DESTROYED the market. What any kind of technical breeding system would mean is that Pokemon that are not 31/31/x/31/31/31 or whatever configuration you need for a specific Pokemon would be worthless. All the wonderful Pokemon on the market right now, (or at least 99% of them) would be worth diddly. Selling Pokemon would only be be people selling specific egg groups of 31 ivs in some stat. Instead of seeing a diverse set of Pokemon in trade chat, how would you like to see "S> Water 2 31 spatk" "S> fairy 31 HP" all the time? That actually also hurts the casual player who just wants to buy Pokemon and have fun playing. There is only one way I believe breeding could work in this game, and that is if you remove ivs/natures being passed down from parents, and make it so The Daycare can only produce an egg once every 48~72 hours, as well as placing egg hatching behind a wall of 4~6 ingame hours played. This way you prevent people from being able to abuse breeding mechanics as well as forcing people to play the game to get good iv Pokemon while allowing them to breed the more ridiculously rare Pokemon for a low chance at a good Pokemon at a controlled rate. But as they stand, breeding of any kind is out of the question, and I'm 100% fine with that.
  3. The problem with this is of course, the workload of creating an individual separate item for every single person who may want to donate $25, which is not that much for the amount of people that would take advantage of it. There'd be a never ending waiting list for those custom clothes, and not enough people to handle the task. Another problem is from a fiscal point of view having someone be able to buy a custom set of clothes means they will probably not buy any other clothes ever again from the ingame mall. This would be a short term money gain, but a possible long term loss. They'd be better off releasing awesome looking costumes over time so people donate more over time to get the next popular costume. However, I do agree with you on the lack of items. It shouldn't be too hard to reskin some of those costumes and mounts, and I really do wish they'd give me more to buy so I could justify throwing more money their way, and costumes and mounts are the perfect thing to implement to keep the game away from being pay to win while raking in cash.
  4. Charmander is in Cinnabar Mansion (lategame) and Squirtle is in Vermillion(earlygame), so if I were to put it anywhere, it'd probably be somewhere in the middle, Route 15 seems like a decent place for it to be placed, with the same rarity as Squirtle and Charmander, of course. Oddish and Bellsprout also appear in this area, both pokemon of the same type as Bulbasaur, so it stays in theme reasonably well too.
  5. lolwut. I would call Venusaur far from outstanding. With its attacking moves limited to only giga drain and its physical movepool of Earthquake and power whip. Definitely nowhere near as threatening as a possible dragon dancing Charizard, or even an all out attacking timid/modest Charizard. Venusaur doesn't even get access to sludge bomb yet, which is just terrible for its movepool diversity. The only novelty that Bulbasaur has now is being a DECENT grass type addition for a team (as well as roserade) other than the extremely rare Ferrothorn or Breloom. Either way, look at the Johto starters. All of them are in the same place, Safari zone. They're all equal in difficulty to acquire no matter which one you pick, and I don't see why Kanto is not the same way.
  6. Pokemon 1-200 have their gen 6 movesets implemented while the rest are on Gen 5, I don't remember which staff member it was, but one of them said that. That's why Azumarill gets Play Rough, and Granbull doesn't at the moment. You're just gonna have to sit tight until it happens.
  7. The reason they haven't implemented these already is because it cuts the time for EV training by way too much. This game has always been about the long-game, not the short-game. I'd be surprised if what you're asking for gets implemented at all, but the Macho Brace really isn't that bad for EV training at all, you've just gotta find the right spots with consistent Pokemon and you're good to go.
  8. +1 96 hours to a week would be a more fair time span for these bosses, especially when (as said above) you can get some really bad items, as well as not being able to control the natures/ivs of the pokemon given as a gift won't influence the market much, if at all. If needs be, maybe instead of some bosses giving 3x~5x rare candies or multiple of other prizes, cut it down to 2 with a the shorter cooldown. More bosses to hunt at more times gives people more to do, and it also helps someone who might not know when to challenge these bosses to not kick themselves in the teeth as hard as a two week cooldown without something important such as egg moves.
  9. It's not the price really, it's the logic behind it. Why are its other two counterparts free to hunt while Bulbasaur isn't? There just isn't a good reason for it, especially when competitively charizard is the best of the three.
  10. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who thinks it is ridiculously unfair that Bulbasaur is the only starter Pokemon to have such a restriction behind it. Squirtle takes a while, so does Charmander, and that's cool, but the game right now seems like it punishes people who did not start with/want to farm a Bulbasaur far more than the other two starter. Bulbasaur definitely deserves to see a low encounter chance somewhere outside the safari zone with its steep entry price of $5000 per, with the other starters that are just a matter of time needed. I guess the same thing can be said for cyndaquil in the johto safari I guess?
  11. Agreeing with this post simply because of how much I can relate. I can't even tell you how many times I've made the right play and used Will-o-wisp on the physical attacker switch in, or leech seeded the Blissey as it comes in, or called a switch into a wall and used toxic just for it to miss. As you said these are strategic moves that a good player should know how to identify and play around, and throwing a win at someone because of a 10% chance seems a little dumb. They might go for this seeing as they removed Accuracy and Evasion boosts and drops, but if they wanted to keep it the same way I'd somewhat understand that they want, but disagree. A counterpoint might be that this will induce a more status heavy meta, and the way the meta is right now is very stall heavy with the lack of such power as the choice items(band and specs) but after we get band/specs working along with heal bell/aromatherapy(if they don't already work) I think it'd be a great change.
  12. PRO Username: ParPar Do you have active membership?: No Your knowledge about PRO: Basic Knowledge What have you already tried to solve the problem? Driver Reinstall, booting up the game with the gamepad plugged in and out, changed the way my computer recognized my gamepad to a different controller type, changed between Direct and Xinput Description and Message Hey, just wondering if other people out there are experiencing the same problem as I am with the gamepad support, I'm currently using a Logitech F710 and I seem to have no problem mapping the buttons to controls in PRO but when I try and use my D-Pad on my controller, the game won't accept it as an input. Already went through all the basic troubleshooting behind it but I might be missing something. If anyone has any ideas that could possibly help or know why it's happening that'd be great, I'd really like to play this game more comfortably. Thanks!
