It's true evolved forms need way more exp to level up, so you shouldn't evolve your pokemon unless you can't progress any further and need more powerful evolutions. But, since you mentioned Charmander, I solo'ed Kanto on my alt account with Charmander (without membership) and he was level 95 after the last gym. Anyway, good luck :Grin:

First shiny was a Golbat in Pokemon Gold back in the day. I was pretty shocked back then, because I had no clue what that was. In PRO it was a Weepinbell and didn't think much of it really. :Crazy:

You don't always get starters. Miracle seeds ,charcoals and mystic waters are much more common. You were just unlucky.
