If you're looking for a speed-boosting sync that works for both of them, you can try Naive. Hasty wouldn't be very good for Shellder since Cloyster needs high defense, but Naive is viable for a mixed Cloyster :) thanks dude ill keep that in mind

awww i just tried it now and it doesn't work, or sync failed and shellder was coincidentally timid lol.

I have tested this in the past and yes it does work like that. I didn't test weather it would change mid battle if your first synch dies though. It should work though from the description of the ability. Thanks man!

Description and Message Hi I know that the ability synchronize only works if the poke is the 1st in your party and is ALIVE. however if that poke is fainted and my second pokemon is a DIFFERENT synchronize then will the poke i catch have 50% of being the nature of the Second sync poke? Thank you, i ask the as im tired of catching shellders when im hunting for staryu and vice versa

if you're on a very low budget for example you have less than 100,000 pokedollars and you have no other pokemon to train then yes i would train that.
