  1. This is actually true information. There's a bit of a roadblock in the sense that Morty is ridiculously tough to beat following the normal storyline, unless tons and tons of hours are invested. In a sense, it can kill player interest by angering them. A lot of players 'work around it' by trading/buying high level pokemon in Johto to speed run through the Gyms. Morty is definitely way too hard for someone 'going through the game' without buying/trading high level pokemon.
  2. No. They can't. You can make a new account and choose a different starter. Or you can catch poliwag on route 22 *only at night*... or a Budew in virdian forest(absorb/mega drain), or a nidoran male and it learns double kick(evolves into nidorino at level 16), or get a mankey and level it up and use fighting moves on brock's pokemon, or get 2 snubull's and train them and use ice punch on brock's pokemon.
  3. Hey Columbus, welcome to [PRO]. You play on red or blue?
  4. Hi, I'm not an admin, but I can answer your question. You can, and I can say this with a fair amount of certainty, because you are allowed to account share. as per rule Thus, you can log onto his, and buy him membership. I sincerely doubt, the staff would ban someone donating to the server through membership purchase.
  5. Hi, I'm sorry for this... Unfortunately you will have to wait, to the best of my knowledge, 1 week to rebattle Red. There is nothing that can be done. I have lost to bosses before because of crash, as well as many others, and you will just have to wait for the boss to reset and allow you to challenge the boss again.
  6. And yes, red server is down right now, you can see server status on https://pokemonrevolution.net/ and https://project-sato.net/statuschecker/ ~ Yes, you can buy membership from the store whenever. It is worth it! In every area, you can find additional pokemon that you can not without membership. So for instance on route 1, if you have membership, you can encounter a Shinx. Here is a detailed list of pokemon in each by category. You can scroll through and look for membership areas and membership pokemon. https://pokemonrevolutiononlineguide.jimdo.com/ You can get to special areas like the safari member zone area, the pokemon tower member area, and the dragons den member area. You can always access the Sevii islands with membership. You also get 50% more EXP and 100% more GOLD from battles. It does not change your rate of encountering shinys however. The shiny rate is 1/8192, and having MS does not increase it.
  7. Speaking from a tech background, without much knowledge of how the game is actually programmed. The way that the game appears to be programmed, considering pc storage, would make it very hard to implement a search button, unless they were to spend a considerable amount of time redesigning pc storage, the gui itself, but also the much code involved.
  8. Well that's great then. Make sure you save your payment info, or screenshot your pay logs, in case there is an issue in getting your coins.
  9. Although Blaziken is far better than Swampert in PvP, and don't get me started on Sceptile. I'll probably choose Mudkipz, because Mud Kipz. Also because that was the starter I choose in RSE. However, I still need to do a bit of research, and I possibly might pick my starter based on whichever is the best for the story. The likelihood I get a good nature and ivs for Torchic from the start is very low, so I will most likely not choose my starter based on PvP viability.
  10. OP is asking does [PRO] take payment from paypal without a credit card linked. I'm pretty sure the answer is no, the only current option of acquiring coins is paying [PRO] through paypal, with your credit card. If you bought a visa gift card at a store, or some other similar gift card that paypal accepts, you can use that card to buy coins/steam games/whatnot for sites like [PRO].
  11. OP, I think you should go for Adamant or Jolly. This is my arcanine which performs well.
  12. South of Fuchsia. Right side of the map. NPC will teach your pikachu surf for $8,000. However, it must be your Starter pikachu. If you didn't choose Pikachu at the start, you can not teach it surf.
  13. I agree with this. It's important to consider the economy however. The amount received for certain items would have to be small, but not to small. Enough of an incentive to sell the items to the npc, but not a large enough sum to hurt the economy too much. This is important to consider because of inflation. Pokemon and items obtained through coins become more expensive, because more money is in the economy. Money sink holes help, but currently, the net worth of the red server seems to be ever increasing. There are 'trash' items to me like '20% increase to flying type attacks' that I will most likely never use. I'd rather have a small increase in cash. However, directly, if you want to get rid of items, and don't care about money. You could simply put the item onto a 'trash' pokemon, and then release that pokemon.
  14. Play on Blue and pretend it's yellow.
  15. It might be because you only have the first gym badge in johto.
  16. I saw this on tumblr today, while looking for gifs. For any 'Flash' fans, This is a great comic that relates to the season finale. Link:
  17. No. You can only 'discover' abandoned pokemon once. It makes sense.
  18. I don't, but I like your hat!
  19. That ^ Probably the one that makes the game the hardest as well :p since you have to train a water type and an electric (or grass) type for 1st/2nd gym -Sorry for the length post, especially on an old thread, but I'm into statistics and analysis- Actually this is untrue, because at level 16 charmander learns dragon rage, at level 17 charmeleon learns dragon rage, and if hasty, there is a free dragon rage tm in the viridian maze. So Charmander, albeit weak to ground and water, is a guaranteed 40 damage until it dies for the first two gyms, as long as its faster, which is certainly not a problem against brock. There's no guarantee you will get growlithe in the viridian maze as the abandoned pokemon, but if you pick charmander you're guarenteed to end up with dragon rage one way or another, effectively making charmander an overpowered early game pokemon. If you pick squirtle, you don't have to train a second pokemon(s) for brock, but you do have to train a second pokemon(s) for misty and surge. If you pick bulbasaur, you do have to train a second pokemon for brock, because bulbsaur only learns physical attacks, and has low attack, and onix and geodude have high enough defense to kill your bulbasaur easily. Regardless of what starter you pick, you need to train pokemon for the first 3 gyms in particular, and further on as well. Popular picks for that pokemon are Nidoran->Nidorino->Nidoking(before you battle misty with moonstone) or Snubull. I personally play with pikachu and 3 snubull, as well as an onix to trick surge into using dig. This makes the game rather easy, and you can progress up through the 3rd gym very very fast, in about 5 hours with no dillydally, 6 hours confirmed. If 5-6 hours sounds like a lot up through surge, you'd laugh at my future video guides, where I inspect people stuck in mount moon with 4-5 hours, or people stuck on the SS Anne(battles before surge) with 10 hours.

  21. If you're having problems... sometimes the folders name can be off resulting in a mismatch. Try renaming both the client and the folder to "pro", without quotations. Hopefully this works for you.
