    Earlier when we talked about fossils for the first time the plan was to make them obtainable in in their respective regions. In the future something may change, but this is the project for now. :Ambivalent: Actually this is still a bit up in the air, however i was thinking of making all fossils multi-region obtainable, just hidden in certain dig spots. This will be the only non event way of getting an aerodactyl too, so we will make sure there are loads of spots around for people to dig up. NOTE: dig spots require a pokemon who knows dig (obviously) and also has to have more than 200 happiness (might be more, might be less i xant remember the exact number right now)

    Exactly this. However currently there are only dig spots in route 3. A wider implimentation was planned however my computer has since bit the dust, and am still waiting for my new one to be delivered. These along with Berry Tower (a battle tower inspired challenge) will be implimented soon after i get said computer up and running.

  7. Yeahhh this sounds like too much hassle for something that would essentially be doing almost nothing diffeerent than now (with exception to the winner/loser notification which would actually be awesome to show)

  9. The only way for this to actually work is if u had a 'Dual HDMI out' GFX card, that can actually make 2 independant desktops. otherwise windows either puts it in 'Extended desktop' or 'Clone desktop' mode. It used to be possible with the old dual VGA cards at least

  13. FYI never say we should copy what PWO has done. Theyre still using a client that our Lead Programmer created over 2 years ago for them, and theyre not competant enough to makw their own client. We will do things our way, if its a good idea we will add it, for everything else theres Bulbapedia
  14. I agree this would be a good idea. Also FYI as an admin i only manage and recruit staff, as well as my lesser known duties of making tiles and tile animations. This would be a DEV thing to do

    When i added all those decorative indoor tiles back in september, i had something similar to this in mind. It will be easier to do this for guilds,.not individual players. So we could do this idea but instead of having houses for individual players, we have guild houses on this small region instead. That way we only maybe need ~50 houses, not several thousand.

  19. We will do it for when we release properly. When we are making beta builds we will do it like we have been.

The premise of how legendary grouping would work is, You go through a large quest up to a point where u have to choose 1 of 3 items (the items would correlate to the legendary u will be able to encounter and potentially catch. There will be several of these around. It will be possible to obtain 1 of any particular group of legendary. For example it will be possible to own an articuno and a raikou, but not an articuno and zapdos. If u see what i mean. And i say possibility in the lightest sense, the possibility of even encountering a catchable legend is very low. And will only be able to have a single encounter with it (it will be in overworld form). If u fail, it disappears forever.
  21. The restriction isnt about battle ranks and tiers. This is about the fact that a legendary is legendary, and supposed to be one of the rarest things to find. The handheld versions translate well since u could only catch 1 per game session, This doesnt translate at all to an MMO setting where everyone would (if we made it exactly the same as handhelds) be able to catch all of them, would make legends pointless. The ones that will be catchable in PRO will in themselves have huge restrictions placed on their availability and access. Only people who have proved themselves worthy will be able to even acces the quests that will lead up to catching a legendary. also their catch rate will be unbelievably low, so only skilled/lucky (in the actual battle) will catch one, and thats the best way for everyone. For example, someone with less than 10 hours gameplay for example is simply undeserving of having that chance. Whereas someone who has spent 1000 hours, will have the privilege to enter any of the available legend quests, and caught legendaries wont be tradeable either.
  22. This game hasnt even been released yet. Youre all playing test builds and are helping us iron out bugs. Now these so called features that cannot be implimented i think many can agree on would spoil the game for everyone else. No powerful legend will be catchable on PRO, this is something that has been discussed for a while and to let people catch the powerful ones would upset the delicate game balance we are trying to create. Want to catch a mewtwo? go play a DS/3DS game.
  23. I agree on some of the things being written here. I like competitive battling, but im more of a Troll Artist, i.e i like using pokemon that annoy people :P anyway onto my point. Some people seem to be gliding over my previous posts because i said that most pokemon will be able to be catchable by all, only a few are member exclusive, and the majority of those people will be able to obtain from prior evolutions etc. Regarding inkay, we've discussed about the possibility of it's evolution being an android exclusive (since phone/tablets have the necessary hardware to emulate what the 3DS does) thats not about trying to spread the platform usage, thats literally a hardware dependant aspect that we'd like to keep. (players who dont own an android can still trade theirs over to someone who does, and vice versa) I dont like grinding 100s of hours to level pokemon, or anything. some peoplke find it fun. good for u :) but i dont. which is y on average it takes 12-15 hours to get a lvl 90+ team (which isnt too bad). we have several high level areas ingame already. But what will really make PRO shine is the implimentation of extra things past all of the regional stories etc. we will have endgame content, and a significant amount too. all the time i personally add stuff that requires pokemon lvl 100 to even access. A couple of the catchable legends even will have huge playtime restrictions (so legendary players will be able to embue their status with the chance to get a legendary pokemon); No, Lugia will not be catchable. ive already had 1 player leave because of that, so if anyone thought they might be able to theyre out of luck. We will have complex and sophisticated quests for the chance to catch a legend such as articuno, or raikou, but not ones such as mewtwo, lugia. Legends arent for newbs, and will be treated as such :) We will also have other things for endgame players to do, such as Boss Battles, there will be NPC versions of Staff members (this is not an egotistical thing, its just easier than coming up with just random NPC types) that players will find around the various regions, and these will offer good prizes, even potentially mega stones. Any other questions regarding content then ask me :)
  24. I just want to state here to avoid any confusion. The GUI willl never be able to be edited by any 3rd party (due to the way the UI is rendered, its not like how PWO's is for example). However, we may well have a Theme setting where people will be able to change colour schemes and things in the future
  25. This is actually a solid idea (for suggestion 1), i also like to see what ball a pokemon was caught with. Maybe in the future this could happen (not promising anything though ;))
