Fractions as in... Factions? I would like this concept. Maybe we could use the Black City and the White Forest from the B/W Pokemon Games as the "Exclusive Towns." Although I would fear that some players could get a bit too absorbed in the idea and would create a toxic environment if not policed correctly.

Check from ALL possible locations. The Big boxes have more than one interaction point. So check from the side, the top, the bottom, etc.

Hey, I'm Shipuujin. Been playing Pokemon since I was a kid. Recently found out about PRO and got excited immediately. I already love what I see so far! I probably won't be active on the forum as much, but I will post from time to time. I'm hoping to complete the PRO PokeDex someday. (Excluding the uncatchables, of course)
