Hi Mcchamp, in my experience leveling a Magikarp can be a nightmare at times and also has one of the hardest to level for stage one Pokemon. It is still quicker then Gyarados but its still something to think about. Also I haven't tried this in Revolution but I don't think he can be taught Hms/Tms but as I said I'm not 100% on that.

Hi, I have thought the same thing but a lot of people including myself are streaming it and so far so good. I have put 60+ hours game-play into stream and have had no problems. It is a awesome game and free to play so you have nothing to lose.

Hi DaggerWillo, From my experience the placement of the Pokemon is very similar to previous games. However Pokemon can be seen in other areas from time to time. Also there is a little arrow to the right of the screen which brings up a box of all the Pokemon in the area however you have to have seen them first for them to show up in this box. Hope this helps.

I had an issue with the game crashing when I would try to log on. Reinstalling the game and letting the log in screen sit for a while seemed to work for that.
