I think everyone wants to know what is causing this and what is going on yeah, if we know the reason this is happening players would understand it better then "Don't ask, it happends". There is no reason to hide it as far as I know? You have some very smart people in here, if you guys have trouble finding the solution who knows, there might even be some players who know some way of fixing it.

Calm your a$$ down everyone. This is NOT a company, they don't have 24/7 customer service and developers ready to fix every crash in a few minutes. You guys don't seem to have any idea on how a game works if you think it's that easy to fix crashes, and even less if you think upgrading servers for a game of this size is cheap. The server crashes (probably) because it's overloaded, it cannot take the amount of data. Buying and upgrading to bigger servers costs a lot of money and takes a lot of time. If you really want things to speed up, you pay for the servers, ones you see the price I think your attitude towards the staff about this will be way different.

These things have happend before, the server forgot where it was because of a crash. Since we're still in beta and crashes are expected to happend the items or pokemon lost due to a crash are not refunded.

You're so immature if you think everything can be solved in a few seconds. Atleast give the developers time to fix it, this isn't their full time job you know. They have other stuff to do aswell. I've had no problem with this so idk if you guys are doing something wrong or this is actually a bug but it'll be fixed soon enough. Until then just do something els.

The IV's are completely random. Pokeballs have a 1.0 catchrate Greatballs have a 1.5 catchrate Ultraballs have a 2.0 catchrate This means using an ultraball gives you 2s the chance of catching the pokemon then a pokeball.

i suggested this so that shinies just become a little useful in game, they r so rare and getting a crappy shiny is really a pain, 16-31 is just a range i took for example, it can be 10-31, making them a little better than normal pokemons They're still pokes why do they have to be better, having a low IV shiny doesn't make them useless I'm a collector myself I don't care the slightest about the IV's on my shiny's.
