  1. Hey Everyone, Whilst in the Discord a few days ago, I noticed someone mention about bringing back players to the game. Whilst I've only just really came back to playing the game, I've wanted to offer some of my own suggestions to help improve the game. I'll try to keep the ideas brief and hope that they aren't repeats of previous suggestions. (quickly before getting into the suggestions, there's a minor spelling mistake on the 'READ THIS BEFORE MAKING A SUGGESTION' page which I noticed. Just on the running shoes part, the word one is spelt as "onne". Wanted to point it out despite it probably being unnoticed since 2016, and also so that now if I spell anything wrong I'll have to correct it myself xD 1. Guild Bases. For my first suggestion, I wanted to suggest Guild Bases. Currently, fly doesn't seem to have any use outside of battles. However, a cool use for it would be to fly to your guilds base. Guild bases could be decorated by leaders / co-leaders of the alliance and would act as a meeting area for players in the guild. Players could battle / trade there, but it would also be cool if they could accept challenges there. Imagine players going to the guild, accepting bounties, and then working as a team to complete these tasks. Players would then gain guild currencies depending on how well they did. Guild currencies could be used by the guild leaders / co-leaders to buy decorations for the base. I'd love to go to a guild base and see some of the acomplishments of the guild. Whilst it may not be possible due to server space, it would also be interesting if each player could have their own room in the guild. I understand this would be 100 rooms for each guild, however it would be cool to have something similar to the base builder in Gen 4. Showing personal achievements (like PvP trophies, pictures of your favourite pokemon, event statues) off to other players would be pretty awesome. Is my suggestion feasible? I would say it's certainly possible. It would probably be easier to slowly add updates to the guild. For example, start with a building which couldn't be edited and slowly add things like customisation / player rooms. This would allow for other players to make suggestions on what they'd like to see in the base. It may seem like a problem with every member having their own dedicated area, however I'm unsure if it's any different from having to save 1,000 pokemon per-player. How does my suggestion benefit the community? I'd say it would benefit the community as it would give people another reason to play the game. Guilds would be competing against one another to see who can flex the most with the coolest base design / rarest decorations. Strengths and Weaknesses I think it could add a ton extra content for players who've completed all the main story of the game and could bring in old players. A potential weakness would potentially be players customising their base. The idea of moving items around could possibly lead to softlocks (unless players could fly out of there at any point in the guild base). Or, since trading is allowed there, technically players could try and softlock themselves by removing their flying pokemon. 2. PRO - Ash's Story As Ash's story has concluded, it would be interesting to do a 'Ash's Story' DLC. I remember a Halloween event that gave player a set team of Pokemon to complete a story. This was done twice if I'm correct and awarded the players with a Mega Stone for Gengar, I believe it was called the forgotten one's? Ironically, I can't remember xD The Ash's story would serve as a opportunity for fans of the Anime to play through the game as Ash. You would play as Ash and go through the same adventures he did throughout the anime. I understand this would be a huge project, however I could also see this being a massive drawing point for new players to find the game. There are certainly players who got into Pokemon because of the anime. Being able to play as Ash, using the game teams, battling the same rivals, and really just feeling the nostalgia, would be fantastic to see. Is my suggestion feasible? Admittedly, it would be a massive project. However, seeing what the team has already been able to achieve with the seasonal events, I believe it's possible. There are apparently over 1,200 episodes of the Anime, however most of the episodes could probably be taken down to about 5 minutes of gameplay and areas of the already existing map could be re-used. How does my suggestion benefit the community? I think it would bring in new players and provide more content for older players. I've seen another fan game trying to recreate this and has received considerable attention. If PRO were to receive the same attention, a ton of new players would join. Strengths and Weaknesses Arguably, it would take away from ideas which need development (double battles for example). Whilst it would be a strong point, by the time it was finished it may be irrelevant / have less people interested in it. At the very least, it would be cool to have some sort of event where players could battle as Ash with some of his teams, maybe in a boss mode for example. 3. Support Streamers Currently, there is no reason to stream the game on Twitch. I think the team should try and support creators more by sponsoring them to play the game. More people streaming the game would result in more people being exposed to it, which would result in more players. Looking on Twitch now, there's currently no one even streaming. Looking at VOD's, there are VOD's with literally 0 views. I've honestly never even seen that on Twitch before. It might be worth getting streamers on to play in events. Is my suggestion feasible? It's definitely feasible. If streamers who already play Pokemon are encouraged to play PRO, be that by paying the streamers a certain amount of money to play the game or arranging events for the streamers to play against other streamers, it would almost definitely boost the popularity of the game and expose new players. How does my suggestion benefit the community? It would bring in new players and give the community streamer events to look forward to. More streamers would want to join the events which would result in more people playing the game. Strengths and Weaknesses PRO has a incredibly low (non-existent) viewership, so if new streamers were brought in they would have to bring their audience in and no-one but their already existing viewers would join. It would be difficult to insentivise these streamers to keep playing the game when they're not going to get any growth on the game. Finding streamers to accept this deal may be difficult, which is why it would need support from the PRO team. Anyways, these have been my suggestions to help improve the game. I've been typing for the past two hours now and it's currently 2:22am. Hopefully some of these suggestions are considered. Thanks for reading, - Lanky B
