I can't get too that area to the right of cerulean city cuz I don't have flash

So my best bet is to go with poliwag? I found a Manley but it's so low level like level for do u know any areas where Manley or poliwag are higher level that I can get to early in the game?

also i thought i was a good level for brock i thought he was low level gym leader :(

whats in viridian forest maze? and also where are the makey or poliwag in the grass or the water cuz i dont have surf yet :( and which wud be best gainst brocks pokemon? mankey caterpie or poliwag?

i keepy dying idk understand my pikachu is like level 13 his pokemon dont even have a level just question marks where the level should be .. my attacks do nothing can anyone trade me a good pokemon so i can beat him please :( idk what to do i feel like giving up and i just started :/
