Just keep looking, this is just one of those funny things that happens with chance sometimes. 12 isn't really enough catches to draw a definitive conclusion anyway.

Can you access Seafoam before beating sabrina?

He mentioned he was doing a water only run. I tried looking for woopers as they would work as well, but they are unobtainable for him at the point he is in the story.

I don't think the old rod works for chinchou, pretty sure you need at least the good rod.

It should work even if the move is super effective. Well if you have tried as many times as you've said it obviously doesn't work so it might not be coded yet I guess.

The eevee the sergeant 'gives' you isn't an actual pokemon. When he says that its just a trigger to allow you to continue with the quest. So it shouldn't have appeared in your party/box. You said you completed the casino, which I assume meant you have defeated Giovanni? Once you have defeated Giovanni you can find the eevee in one of the pods scattered around the team rocket hideout. Once you intereact with the correct pod an actual eevee pokemon will be given to you. It should look like this: Did this help?

Not all of the abilities in pro have been coded yet. I'm sure they will get round to it eventually ;)

This would depend on the generation of the move implemented in pro. In gen 6 it has a 100% chance to confuse the target. However in the previous gens it worked differently. You could record some audio with your nintendo and the confusion chance of chatter would scale directly with the audio volume and if there was no audio the chances would be zero. So whether or not this is a bug would depend on if the version in pro is 6th gen or not.

Were you on full hp when you tried and do you literally mean 70 times?

I completed Johto using only a cyndaquill and gyarados. Cyndaquill is definately the best starter for Johto as fire is super effective against 3 of the gyms, not very effective against one and weak to none of them. Gyarados is there for additional coverage and the beautiful dragon dance sweep <3

Each pokemon has a required experience to level up. For pokemon in the same evolutionary line, the further along they are the more experience they require to level up. For example a Bulbasaur will take less experience to get to level 50 than an Ivysaur. This is the main benefit to not evolving a pokemon until higher levels. This applies to all the different lines of pokemon that I am aware of. Some pokemon have different exp requirements for levelling up than others. For example a Lapras requires more exp to get to lv 50 than a Kangaskhan (taken from bulbapedia). There is no real difference between the exp gain ofpokemon with different amounts of evolutions aside from the fact that the more a pokemon has been evolved, the more exp they require.

Some Pokémon have a very low catch rate, it's just how the game works. To give yourself the best chances of catching it try using a false swiper to lower it's HP to 1, then putting it to sleep. Also I don't get the problem with them being female, gender has no influence on the stats of a Pokémon.

Also, if the trade channel is moving too fast you can increase the size of the box by dragging the top left corner upwards :)

Pro was designed to simulate the battles of the handheld Pokémon games. Altering the way certain moves work would deviate from this goal and probably disrupt the balance of the game which Nintendo has put so much work into.

Neither low kick nor icicle crash is able to be put on weavile atm.

These things happen with a game like PRO. If people are getting stuck on npcs, you shouldn't try to do something important like a boss battle until the server has been restarted. Good luck for next time I guess :p

I think its just chance that Absol hasn't shown up. It is in the lowest spawn rate tier so it would make sense that you wouldn't encounter it often.

Hey, heres a description of IVs taken from the wiki: Every stat has an IV ranging from 1 to 31 for each stat (HP, ATK, DEF, SPA, SPD, and SPE), and at level 100, their IVs are added to the Pokémon's stats for their total values. For example, a level 100 Tyranitar with no Effort Values and 1 IVs has 311 HP, however if it had 31 IVs, it would have 341 HP.
