[Petition Against the Recent Boss Changes and the Nerfs on Rewards]

Hello everyone,

 

This thread is in regards to the recent changes made to PvE that have really disappointed most of the community that plays the game solely for it's PvE aspect, myself being one of these players. The limit on the amount of bosses we can battle is not only demotivating for PvE players but also completely destroys the fun of that aspect of the game. We are forced to choose what bosses we want to battle in the limited time frame and can no longer discuss things like strategies on how to achieve the shortest boss run etc which was part of the fun. For myself personally, I feel completely distanced and neglected as a PvE player in PRO by the recent changes and with megas being implemented into PRO it serves to show that the game is catering towards its PvP community to an overwhelming degree.

 

What really triggered my frustration the most is this:

Today, I decided to log in for a test run on my love island boss strategy that I've been working on for months, recording it every time and tweaking it in order to upload a solid strategy onto YouTube that can potentially help other players struggling with this boss as I have in the past. For those of you who play PvE you will know exactly how annoying this boss duo is to defeat consistently considering the amount of threats each of their teams has, from the guts flareon to the serene grace shaymin sky flinchathon and the MG alakazam with focus sash that seems to love critting us.

 

After completing this battle I realized the reward was cut by half! I only got 46k and 5 PvE coins for a boss I need to pay 5k to get to assuming I'm already in vermilion city and don't have a travel pass that costs the ridiculous amount of 300k a month. Imagine that! One of the hardest boss duo in the game completely cut down and getting a measly reward for the effort on a boss that's literally a coin flip and one mistake can cost you the battle putting you on a 12 day cool down. How frustrating! When bosses are our main source of income and we need to cover the cost of travel debt, ev training, safari zone they all cost money. Not every player uses trading as their main source of income and not every player plays pvp either to make money off their coins!

If you're going to nerf the reward nerf the boss too.

 

I feel there is a complete lack of communication between the staff and the players of this community, as we weren't even told in the announcements which boss rewards were nerfed specifically, and giant sudden changes like this make players feel isolated from the staff of this game. You guys really need to pick up your game when it comes to identifying player needs and fix the issues at their core, not some patch work solution in hopes to avoid mass profit on multiple accounts. It should not be a generalized solution that punishes all players.

 

I've loved this game for a long time I really have, I've seen the potential it has had to be great for all the years I've been playing, and I wish it would grow even larger and become a popular game once again, but in all honesty changes like these aren't doing the game any good. You're slowly driving away more and more veteran players who are attracted to that aspect of that game specifically and have stuck with it for those reasons. A lot of us feel like we're not just players in this game but we've witnessed the development of this game from the get-go so we're all mini testers and have grown attached to the game after seeing what it was and where it's at now. If you would only take advantage of the community's opinions and feedback you will benefit so much from it. We're all literally at your disposal and all you need to do is lend an ear to listen.

I completely agree, the pve aspect of the game is dwindling slowly along with my interest in the game. To me It seems like the game is all hunting of high tier Pokémon or pvp now a days. The boss changes make the game seem more meh as of late

[Boss Drop Suggestion]

This one is specifically for the Artist, Devs, and Content Scripters.

 

To get straight to the point, I think that the percentage of exclusive item drops from bosses should increase on consecutive wins and if you have Membership active when completing a boss. Currently the drop rate for exclusive items are 1%. I feel that is entirely too low considering the fact that upon completion a boss will go to cool down for 12 days.I suggest giving a 2 percent increase upon win streaks, making it 5 percent maximum at win number three. As for a Membership boost it could be around 5 percent, making a maximum 10 percent drop rate for exclusive items when it is a players third time completing it.

 

As for the second part of this post I would also like to suggest to addition of PVP Shop items as boss drops. We all know that a big portion of this game's players aren't PVP oriented or just don't have the time for it. That being said, by adding these items as boss drops as well, you allow players to who don't play PVP an additional way to obtain these items. All while in correlation to the item drop percentages I listed above.

 

I am not sure if you guys had other plans but I think this is a good suggestion and something that can be reasonably considered.

Hi guys! In wake of the release of the Christmas Event, I've decided to create this guide to make sure that you guys can easily navigate through this year's event. I want to give a big shout out to Necro, LightningVector, Heiwajima for the help they gave me in making this guide. Also, a super huge shout out to SyaoranLi and the rest of the staff team for their guide on the first part of the event. You can visit it HERE. To start the quest you will need to first head over to the Lily Cove Docks.

Once you are in Lilycove City Ports, to the left of your screen you will see sailor Jacob Interact with him. Sailor Jacob will ask you if you want to go to Eumi Island, say YES and get ready to pay 5k :)

Now we are at Eumi Island. From the port, you want to head north into Eumi Island Theme Park 1. When you try to go ahead deeper into the theme park the receptionist will stop you saying that they are experiencing blackouts and that Waston said something was wrong in New Mauville

From there head back to the ports and sail back to Lilycove City Ports. Once back in Lilycove make your way to Mauville Which is located just south of Mauville City, in Route 110 and surf East until you are at the entrance of New Mauville. There you will see Watson and the officer Shamac, talk to them and they will say that investigating a pirate ship at Lilycove City Ports that belongs to Captain Phantom Crew who stole an Important Machine part. From there head back to Lilycove City

Once you are back in Lilycove City head east until you arrive at a black ship, Once next to the black ship enter it

When you first get on the ship head north and walk up the stairs. Once up the stairs, you will see a white door you can enter into. Enter it. [spoiler=Pathway]

Beware that when making your way to the white door there will be a very high number of trainers that you will fight on this ship. Their pokemon levels range from 30 to 45. Once you enter Captain Phantom's Cabin continue north and make your way up the stairs. From there make a left and continue up to Captain Phantom.

A few trainers are in the way but nothing you can't handle :) Get ready to fight Captain Phantom

Once defeated Captain Phantom will give you the machine part back. From there you can head back to New Mauville and talk to Watson

The Advent Boss is a friendly person whose main goal is to bring the players gifts but only if they can defeat him in battle. He is a boss with a different random team every day and gives rewards that are pretty decent and Eumi Tokens which is unique to Eumi Island.

Location: Southwest of Eumi Island Theme Park 2

 

Cooldown: 24 hours

 

Rewards: Pokedollars, Eumi Tokens, PP Up, and Level Ball

Eumi Tokens are completely unique to Eumi Island. To gain Eumi Tokens you must defeat the Advent Boss. He gives Eumi Tokens every time you defeat him. You can defeat him daily. Eumi Tokens can be redeemed inside the Casino with King Dice at the counter. The Casino is located. Northwest of Eumi Island Theme Park 2.

This year The Evil Grinch is trying to ruin the jolly feeling of Christmas and make things go terribly once again. But this year he isn't challenging us he is challenging Santa Claus himself. Santa Claus and The Evil Grinch are competing with one another. The Grinch challenged Santa to go in search of the best possible gift while He goes for the worst possible gift that he can get. That's where you come in and winners will be rewarded after every advent

Santa Claus and The Grinch both need our help to them achieve their goal so they can beat the other. The Advent winners will be chosen based on a point system, The current person with highest points will be announced via System Message.

Santa Claus is in Search of the best possible pokemon that he can gift. This means the Rarest Pokemon (including Shiny, Pink, and Holiday) with the best IVS and Ability will get the highest points. At the end of every Advent Cycle. Santa will choose his best pokemon as the winner and the winner will receive their award.

The rarer your pokemon (including Shiny, Pink, and Holiday) the more points you get but the Evil Grinch wants the pokemon with the Worst IVS and Ability possible. The most terrible pokemon earn the highest points. Just Like Santa Claus, the Evil Grinch will choose a winner at the end of every cycle.

To answer your question, the length and overall severity of punishments when it comes to bans, mutes, and etc. all stem from the Punishment Policy. The Punishment Policy is what Staff use to determine the severity level and action that needs to be taken for every infringement of the PRO Official Rules that is brought to their attention. The Punishment Policy does not say the length of ban or mutes. To get that info a person who is muted or ban will have to check their Dashboard for the length and reasoning behind their punishment.
