  1. So I’m gonna give my take on this based on what I have seen happen in another game and offer my advice. Please don’t shoot me down for relating this to another game im only offering my take. In that game the staff appointed a pvp council based on people they think are good with no true method of selecting anyone. The results: we now have a pvp council who decides what to ban (and some members have abused this by selling pokes they voted to ban before it happens. There is also a lot of people who disagreed with their decisions and due to the way they were “appointed” they don’t even have a solid pvp record to stand on. My message: don’t make the Same mistakes. Produce a clear method of appointing a council via the pvp ladder top players. Come up with a transparent method of proposal ... vote .. and change. Re select the council each month or each season (winter summer spring autumn) so that new players have a chance to join (based on pvp skill) and old decisions can be reversed by future councils. If you just make a council with no method of selection and then it’s done with no rotation you’ll a disconnect will occur between the council and the rest of the playerbase. I’d also suggest making a rule that council members agree not to sell pokes that are being voted on. Hope this insight helps.
  2. I notice genesect is not pvp legal and yet it has the same base stats as mew *600* and is not in the 600 + catagory. Maybe a new discussion on whether it should be unbanned from pvp? I do realise this debate happened some months ago along with blazikin . But that was a time when not as many players had access to this legend and many things have been added / coded since. To summarize my suggestion is for a new debate on the unbanning of genesect from pvp. MentalBull

  4. Ok so i recently learned that Zapdose / Articuno / Moltres have less than 600 base points ... Therefore as far as pokemon go they arnt really overpowered. My suggestion is that like the legend dogs we can catch One of these Kanto Beasts for our legend collection . Thanks :D (i was thinking that the requirements be similar in style to the dogs ... we get an orb like in the second movie or perhaps thunder island for zapdose .. fire island for moltres .. ice island for articuno seems like an opportunity for a cool side mission or area ) .
  5. I think we should be able to re catch legends for us sync failers .... every one of my legends so far has been a sync fail ... i have 4 currently ... my next will be the hoenn legends ... and im not getting my hopes up lol

  7. I disagree ... PRO seems to have a policy of listening to its users in terms of pvp rules and suggestions they take on. I think if enough people support the idea we have a better chance of getting listened to :)
  8. I think this would be a great thing ... for prize poke it spawns and you have the chance to battle the spawn just like phione :) +support from me
  9. Hi there I do realise this is my second post in suggestions. But I thought there was 2 abilities and one move I would particularly like to see implemented. The first is my long standing favourite Ditto and his move transform. I feel transform could enhance and change the flow of battles in PVP. I love the idea of taking on an enemies form. Many players have Mew Legend (which naturally learns transform) and Even more players have access to hunt ditto (even more so with the hunt ditto for bike mission). The abilities I would like to see implemented are Ditto's Imposter and Zoroarks Illusion. I love the idea of disguise and deception especially as a feature in PVP to swing a battle. I feel the implementation of Ditto and zoroarks ''pretend'' style ability would be an amazing addition to PRO sooner rather than later :). Thanks for reading my suggestion. P.S. I read the suggestions on the considerations list and I think spectate mode would be amazing for pvp.
  10. Hi there my suggestion is for a way to give up your legendary and be granted a chance to catch a new one. The reason for this suggestion is that every one of my 4 legends so far were sync fails. I thought a system which takes one legend maybe at a cost. Or boss battle reward ''legend token'' that can be traded with your legend in exchange for a chance to hunt a new one. Of course a cooldown or rarity could be put on this to stop people '' farming'' the legends. My hope is that this would satisfy the communities hunger for better chance of the legend they want and that a sync fail is not a depressed serious Mew's or Adamant Celebi's death sentence. Sync fail legends sit in boxes and their owners cut themselves while watching anime. So hopefully You consider this for the serial sync failers like me :) :Cool:
  11. Thanks for your response [mention]PreHax[/mention] . In my case I hadn't declared the auction over but I was still taking bids. The issue was people were telling me that my auction should be over. As the time I Stated was over I said the auction would end 1 minute after the final bid. So I said bidding would end at 19;30 (gmt) or 1 min after final bid. When I reached 19;30 (gmt) I was still receiving bids. People got annoyed at this as I went over the original 19;30 and one person thought that because he bid at say 19;29 50 seconds .. thought that he was entitled to win. Several other people got annoyed at me carrying on the auction and threatened to report me over my auction. But since I was still receiving bids the auction lasted some time later until someone bid and there was no rebid within 1 minute I declared them the winner. The abuse I was receiving from people in trade chat regarding my auction is what prompted me to make this post. I just wanted to make sure my method of running auctions are above board before I run another one.

Hi there I have an enquiry for the moderators regarding trade chat auctions: I have only run 3 so far ... the way I run it was aimed for a specific time and if still receiving bids run on a bid by bid basis ending it 1 minute after the final bid. The first 2 auctions went very smoothly. The most recent people got upset at me for carrying the auction on once I reached the original time. I did clearly state at the beginning '' Auction ends at 30 min past the hour or 1 min after the final bid'' I have screenshots if it became an issue. I have not found a guideline on trade chat Auctions only auctions for the forum. I am asking mainly because several people had issue with this and one person claimed he won the auction even though the auction was still on going as I was still receiving bids. Is this way to run auctions incorrect? And if so what is the correct way to run it? * id like to note I do my best to keep it as clear and transparent as possible and I record every auction and larger trades with screenshots consistently* Thanks for taking the time to check this out, MentalBull
  13. The move whirlpool is supposed to trap the enemy pokemon but in battle they are able to switch out during the whirlpool. I also tested the ability hydration. During rain status problems are not healed. Neither of these are on the list of bugged / not coded moves / abilities on the pvp rules section.

  15. I charge 17k per egg move normally in Kanto (egg moves base cost is 15000 per move) i make 3k per move. I check moves for free. Mail Me In game for egg moves :)
  16. Hi there so I discovered the game 12 days ago after much searching online to find if this type of mmo existed. After 3 terrible versions I landed here on Pokemon PRO and it looks like I'm here to stay :). So to let you know where I'm at just today I have defeated the johto E4 and climbed the mountain and beat the illusive RED who has been trolling me consistently throughout the Story line! I Found Shanes house in a secret trainers valley which made me feel special. After 3 days of addictive play I got myself membership and a mount. If i didn't love the game I wouldn't have done that! So down to business. As a new player I'm going to give the Pros and Cons in my opinion. If you are offended by opinions and feedback give your computer a drink of water now and close the webpage :) Pros: -The game is everything I wanted it to be. Similar to the old games I played when i was younger. But in MMO form with the joys of other people populating the world for trades and battles. -For me there has been no real lag at all. Ive tried similar games and they were extremely laggy. -The graphics are better than other attempts at this type of game! - The moderators on chat are fair and easygoing. A mafia style moderator system can make online chat in games pretty hellish and this game has just the right balance. -The story line is awesome. The NPCs say funny things from time to time. The game has a real flavor of originality that feels like a new game. Rather than just a carbon copy from an old gameboy. - From what Ive seen i feel like the developer have a passion and genuinely care about the game. The fact Shane build himself a mansion in trainer valley added a nice personal touch. -I was lucky enough to experience an Easter event. I like the way it was done. Was easy for newbies and experienced players alike to get in on the action. - The game is free enough to be enjoyable and membership is just tempting enough to make you get it if u wish ( i can resist everything except temptation so i did get MS :D ) -The Playerbase is mostly friendly and the non friendly seem to have a happy existence too. This game really is what you make of it and ive made some great in game connections :) The Cons- -Abilities and moves that do not work are not clear so it seems to be a case of DIY find out what works and what doesn't. I feel like new content or expansions has priority over perfection of whats already here. -Ditto- my favorite pokemon doesn't work yet. -I tried pvp for the first time today and they have a bizarre set of alternative rules. I think fighting a player should be just like fighting the E4 or any wild pokemon. I Got verbally abused and apparently reported and told i wasn't welcome in the game all because i used hypnotize twice in a pvp match (unaware that there was a strange set of extra rules in place that we just had to read and follow independently). I did explain I was new to pvp and I haven't been banned thank god and i have learned to follow the weird rules. But i think its a whole area of the game that needs to be rethought. I later learned that I couldn't use my Wobbuffet in pvp because its ability upsets people and it was banned because of some dodgy forum vote. -Legendaries cannot be captured. (most of them) ... and i do see the point ... everyone would just have them and use them. But once u battle them they gone forever. I feel like legends should either be catchable or a Boss that resets or returns after a cooldown period. -The Server has crashed 3-4 times on me in 12 days. To be fair the timeouts have been minor with no real loss of progress. But Impending doom of a server crash is menacing if you have spent 5 hours looking for a rare charmander. - You cannot leave your friends a message when they are offline. Conclusion; I give the game an 8/10. Its fun. Its addictive . Its got a proper quality to it despite its minor flaws. I do think the pvp should be left to follow the same rules u have when u fight in game trainers. And I think there are some functional areas such as moves and ditto that needs attention. I have recommended this game to as many people as possible and I can already tell im going to be a long term player. I plan to begin writing some basic guides for newbies soon. #Well done PRO for such a great game :)
  17. So i have the kanto dex and the 71 evos .... only to see theres a 300 hour limit .... i have 90 hours :(
