[mention]YungEasy[/mention] as [mention]PreHax[/mention] has said, you only need to enter battle with the birds to get the PokeDex data - it doesn't matter if you win or lose, just that you fight them. Have fun in the game :D -locked as solved-

As [mention]PreHax[/mention] said, you need to have 6 (SIX) level 100 pokemon, and you need click the Find Match to start a battle/find an opponent - if you don't meet the pokemon requirements you won't be able to find a battle, as it would be unfair to either you or your opponent. This way, everyone is on level ground by having the same level pokemon. I'll mark this topic as solved, as you have been given a full explanation

Hey there [mention]markgoku5[/mention] , I'm sorry but it seems like PRO won't be coming to iOS anytime soon - This thread here explains a bit more in depth, but basically, iOS doesn't have the right resources to be able to use PRO, and they don't allow third-party developers to submit apps, so there's no plans for it anytime soon. Sorry for the bad news :( Please, continue to enjoy the game though!
