By definition, Saitama beats everything, he is the "one punch man". You can't really argue if someone is stronger than Saitama because in terms of raw strenght he is meant to be the strongest being and by very far. No one can beat Saitama in a strenght fight, he isnt the kind of character that grows everytime he beats someone strong. He will never have a hard time beating anyone because he is the strongest in his universe and will always be. It may seem stupid at first but this is why One punch man is so fun, because it is absurd. The only fights with a bit of suspense are those where Saitama is not there or where he is outsmarted.

Of course the fact that so much people want to play is thrilling. But you cant deny his argument like that, i think he meant that they dont have the financial stability to make such investment. It has to be done step by step, and having a strong regular playerbase is the only way to have this financial stability, even if at first some people are frustrated by the fullness of the servers :/ I honestly prefer a game that last a long time with a moderate playerbase than a 1 year hype game that ends in a financial disaster.

With less than $9000 USD per month PRO can manage multiple servers with a larger total capacity and still save money for their mortages. Don't nit-pick, this isn't an accounting firm. I am still supporting my own suggestions to allow MS players priority slots on the server. Anyways, re-read what Deathwing said earlier. Outside of the debate of how to improve server capacity, membership giving priority in queue without having the capacity to host everyone that is paying would be a fraud. @BigBrainAfk : Telling "if you don't like it, then quit" isn't good either... You can dislike an aspect and not throw everything that you like because of it...

The afk dropping is actually very fast, around 5 minutes maybe less of afking makes you logout. Of course some people are just checking for time to time to stay logged but most logged playersare actually playing. The thing is the amount of players wanting to log in is so huge that you cant really see when someone successfully logs in when server is full. I achieved logging in while server was full only once in like one week of trying :p

The fact that it is absurd actually makes all the fun ! It is like a caricature of classic shonen (who said Dragon Ball ?), with very good animation and fights, and way more fun than most mainstream shonen

You have to note that this is still in beta, so answering the demand in terms of server capacity isnt exactly the priority (i guess). Your suggestion makes me think of a closed beta with mandatory payment for joining (i know this is not what you said). And still, the number of slots in the same server is already too high in my opinion. The next step in terms of playerbase should be opening new servers, not making more room in this single server, it is already outpopulated, in most places it doesnt "feel" very good to be stacked with 20 other players on the same gym. Still i see the money argument coming back, more money = more servers. Of course, but not at the cost of equality between members and non members. Note that i have membership myself, so i am not biased at all in this topic. EDIT : Deathwing is totally right in that regard, making people pay for something PRO can't still technically offer would be terrible.

Honestly i find very hard to support the idea of priority queue for paying users. Even if your arguments totally make sense in a "capitalist" point of view as you said, but it is far from fair and from the spirit of this kind of game. And be assured that if you start trying to generate money from a licensed fan made game, you are going to have a lot of trouble. Membership should stay really optionnal and give only skins to reward players support. I'm already a bit sad about the +50% xp boost, dont make membership a mandatory thing...

Wait for the end of christmas holidays, it may open up the server a little during day time. And dont forget that it is a Beta, so complaining for server slots at this moment doesnt really make sense :/ I know it's frustrating, just tell yourself it's the same for everyone :)

So in terms of openers, it is more often classic entry hazard as in classic metagame... But with no focus sash available (atm it's destroyed on use, so for competitive using...) are entry hazard THAT vital ? And in that topic, how are played shell smash cloyster without focus sash ? They rely on entry hazard openers with low pressure ? I mean couldnt Aerodactyl just os cloyster on the shell smash turn with a good rock stab ? Cloyster is one of my favourite pokemon for PvP so i'm really interested in that matter ^^

Hello guys, i have a few questions about how PvP goes at the moment in PRO. Since i am still grinding the game, i didnt have the occasion to see any competitive battling, so i am still in the dark in that aspect : With the buggued/non available moves and pokemons, how is the metagame growing ? Do you have some pokemons that you see very often in some specific roles ? (more than in the handheld games meta i mean). Since there are no legendaries available, are there still (unofficial) tiers like those used by smogon ? Do people abuse sleep, rng or some strats that wouldnt be allowed in OU ? I may have some other questions for the future, but i really want to get a good idea on how is the meta going before i think about the team i will want to play. Thanks in advance for everyone taking time to answer :)

Maybe at the moment it is coded the same way classic evolution stones are. Did you try to "use it" and not give it to your happiny for holding ? If when you use it, it displays your team and you can then use it on your happiny (and it actually makes it evolve), then it's similar to, says, fire stone. If not, i can't really help you and it's probably a bug (the fact that it's not holdable).

In Europe (France) I can only log in around 8am when there are about 1000-1100 players. So dont worry, logging in is very hard for everyone atm.

Hi, someone told me ingame that it was a known issue, but since i didnt see it on the list : Sand tomb doesnt act at all like it should, but rather as a multi attack (with base 35pwr/hit, which makes it completely op...) I used it with my sandshrew for story progress and hope i wont get any trouble for it. I'll just stick to spamming dig rather than sand tomb if using it is prohibited :) -
In my opinion getting 1 time use focus sash completely kills some viable and interesting strategies and push people more towards boring meta items like choice items or life orb. At this point it is totally useless to rely on focus sash for pvp and i find it kinda lame... Is there a reason why it is 1 time use only ? Did the devs find it too powerful and chose to nerf it to the ground ? (Imho it doesnt even make sense since you can still use it in pvp 1 time every 2 weeks, so if focus sash was op it would make 1 fight every 2 weeks imbalanced...) Obviously i am biased since i love focus sash cloyster so much in addition with shell smash/skill link. Seeing a cloyster solo an entire unprepared team is something :D
