Hello Jlc25, the problem that you have may be because you already battled some trainers. You are only allowed to defeat their group once, so if you already did you will no longer be able to fight them.

Good day to all of you Egg enthusiasts! Today I announce some great news to you! We opened up the peaceful Easter Plateau for you to discover through Vermilion City, now... This year, there have been quite some issues. In order to restore the peace around the area, you have to help the Egg Maniac find as many eggs possible, because he lost them on his roadtrip this year. He'll reward you with a prize if you fulfill his task, so better start egghunting! There's eggs lost all over Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh... He may have dropped some here and there on some other parts of our PRO universe. The more you find, the greater your reward will be! Aside from the egg hunting, we'll also have some exotic Togepi forms showing up everywhere; there's only a small amount of them however, but they come in many forms. Better start that hunt!

It's a small new zone that will give you the ability to travel between Johto and Hoenn without spending any cash! There's some fun challenges on the island, and a secret questline! Be careful to not doze off, because the island tends to do that to unprepared players. To access the Island you'll have to either go South in Route 41, or North in Route 125. It's sad for me to see that it has not been the most pleasurable experience for you lately, but everything we create content-wise has to have it's requirements. This for instance was to not overcrowd the launching period of the Sinnoh region. Hey there Goldies, and thanks for sharing your concerns regarding the game. However, the thing you're reporting isn't classified as a bug, we just have map edges that display as a dark, empty area. This just restricts the player-zone and the map file entirely. It is not a bug. I hope this answers your concern. Have a good day!
