I think they will eventually be catchable. In the past they have shown something that may going to be used for a quest to get catchable bird trio, but it seems the quest is being put in the backburner at the moment. ok thanks my friend, i hope so!

guys they said that legendaries with 600 BS and below are catchable from players..so the 3 birds of kanto which have 580 BS are catchable right?

i think that it would be better to catch legendaries so to have the chance to catch all the pokemon..i do not know if there are rewards when someone fill the pokedex but i would suggest to catch all the pokemon and when we complete the pokedex it would be awesome to gain some rewards..So the legendaries would be useful for the pokedex and also if someone wants to use it in the in game battles..for pvp it is ok not to permitted..that is my opinion and i think it would nice to catch them.

You can forget all uber legendaries with more than 600 BS like Palkia or Reshiram, they are deemed to be too strong, thus unhealthy for the game. Maybe we will get Manaphy or Shaymin with Sinnoh in the future or semi-legendaries like Suicune as pvp tournaments reward but nothing confirmed yet. hmm..the same with zapdos,articuno and moltres?it is a pity because someone may want to complete the pokedex
